Introduction to Computer-Assisted Language Learning


During the last century, a lot of changes happened in education, in fact, it has evolved. With the help of technology the educational system has been improving a lot, implementing and using ICT in education is the biggest change. 

The use of computers in education nowadays has improved the learning of a second language such as English.


One of the biggest approaches to learning English is called CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning) which is a student-centered approach in which the use of software and educational programs are applied to teach grammar, vocabulary, and other skills and subskills. The focus of CALL is learning, and not teaching
